I have a new pet in my herb garden. Her name is Phyllis. As you can see from my basil plants, the aphids have been hard at work sampling product. Lucky for me, we have a few mantis in my yard and Phyllis has decided to take on the little problem directly. I guess now, when I pick basil, I need to check for her sheltering in the shade under a leaf.
